Going home!

Here is a picture of Mattilyn as we were getting ready to go home from the hospital. She did really well in her carseat and the ride home. She seemed to like it better then more than now. She looked so tiny in her carseat.



Here are pictures of Ivy and Rubin greeting her for the first time. Rubin is going to be her protector I am sure. He likes to be where she is and will usually try and check on her if she is crying. I think Ivy could care less!

It has been a crazy busy week. We have had so much going on and it has really had an effect on Mattie. She hasn't been a very happy baby. Today she seems back to normal. We had a wonderful night sleep last night (she slept over 7 hours straight). Too bad every night isn't like that! Matt and I are so in love with our baby girl. She is perfect even when she is crabby! Thanks to my mom and dad for being so helpful this weekend. I don't think we would have made it through the wedding without you guys!

I am trying to get caught up on pictures. I hope to one day be caught up and post current ones when I do a post but for now they are older ones!

Finally!

Well I am going to try and post the video of Mattie's birth day that my mother-in-law put together. Hopefully it will work. It is basically her birth day in pictures. I hope to update with more pictures soon! I have a ton of them.

2 Days Past Due Date....

Okay this was a post I always hoped I wouldn't have to write. Two days past my due date and no sign of Mattilyn coming on her own between now and Tuesday. We are set to go in Tuesday morning at 6:00 am to be induced. I was talking to my mom this morning and I told her I could see Mattilyn still trying to hold out even after the induction! I am praying for a quick and easy delivery though! So maybe she will listen to me on this one! Last night Matt and I had a little date night. We went to dinner and a movie and then to Best Buy to look at video cameras. Matt had to go to work last night so it was kind of cut short but we still had a very good time. I will post pictures later of my belly if I can get Matt to take one!

Easter

It hasn't really felt like Easter today and I am not sure why. I went to church by myself this morning because Matt had to work last night so he was sleeping and maybe that had something to do with it but who knows. I am really glad I went to church today because the message really spoke to me. The pastor was talking about being in transition and when we are in transition in our lives we always tend to rush things along and never take time to just let things happen. I feel like this is what I am doing with this pregnancy. I feel like it is a time of transition and I am just trying to rush Mattilyn along to hurry up and get here when what I really need to be doing is focusing on the now and spending quality time with my husband and enjoying having Mattily growing inside of me. I don't want to rush things. I am not even to my due date yet so I just need to be patient. God's timing is perfect and I need to patient and wait on his timing not my own. Please help me to remember this the next few weeks!

6 Days Until Due Date!!!

Matt is at work for the night and I should be cleaning but I thought I would do a little updating and post some pictures before I get to the fun part of my evening! We have had a great weekend! Last night CheyAnne and Hannah stayed the night with us and then we went over to their house this evening to keep them company while Andy and Ricci were at the Royals game. We decorated Easter eggs, played Rock Band and took a walk. We had a lot of fun! I went and got a pedicure today and it felt so nice and now my toes are all pretty!

Mattilyn is due in 6 days and I have a feeling she is going to hang out until she is forced to come out! The doctor said we will come up with a plan for induction at our next appointment which is Wednesday. I am really praying that we don't need an induction and I ask for your prayers as well for a natural start to labor.
