Jumperoo

Matt put together Mattie's jumperoo in hopes she would like it more than her swing and bouncy seat. She is still a little small for it so we have to put a package of diapers underneath her so she can touch but she seems to enjoy it so much more than the others! We will have to find something else when we need the diapers!

My attempt at a photo shoot

I found this awesome planter at Walmart and thought it would be so cute to put Mattie in it and take some pictures. I am sure the people at Walmart thought I was crazy as I got her out of the carseat and put her in this pot to make sure she would fit! Of course no smiles!

14 Weeks!

Mattie is finally getting over her cold but we had to take her to the doctor on Monday because my sister suspected she had thrush and sure enough that is what it was. She is taking medicine for it and hopefully it will be cleared up soon. On another note, she weighed 11 pounds 4 ounces with her clothes on! She is still in the 25th percentile but the doctor was very happy with her weight gain!

It is so hard to leave her in the morning because when she wakes up she is all smiles and I just want to stay with her and soak up those smiles. It is so hard to get a picture of those smiles because it seems like when she smiles and you have the camera out she automatically puts her hands in her mouth! She loves to suck on her hands or anything really for that matter.

Mattilyn's 3 month pictures!!

It's a little early since technically Mattie will not be 3 months until Tuesday but I was so anxious to get her pictures done and I wanted to do it on one of Matt's days off so we decided to go yesterday. Let me just say, my daughter is still stubborn! I always thought she was when I was still pregnant with her and she is proving now that she still is! She has never been too thrilled to have her picture taken and yesterday was no exception. She was crying part of the time, would not smile and wanted to have her hands in her mouth. Of course as soon as we got to the car she was full of smiles! The pictures are still great and I love them. We are going to try for some family photos soon since about the only ones we have of the three of us are with one of us holding the camera and that doesn't make for very good pictures.

I just think Mattie might be the cutest baby!!!

I was going to stop posting for the day but then saw these other pictures and just had to share. I thought everyone should be able to share in her cuteness with me! Notice her with her doll in the last picture!

I love my feet!

We thought Mattie had discovered her feet because she was playing with them one day but she hasn't played with them since. She sure loves her hands though.

Mattie's baby dedication at church

We had Mattilyn dedicated at church on June 28th. It was a wonderful service.

I could watch Mattie smile all day long! She has the cutest smile! We are going to get her pictures done on Thursday and I am hoping we can get lots of pictures with that beautiful smile. How could this not make you want to smile?

Mattie's first Fourth of July

Mattie's first Fourth of July went really well. She slept through all of the fireworks pretty much so I was glad they didn't bother her. The Fourth of July is also Hannah's birthday so we had a fun time celebrating her birthday! Here are some pictures from Hannah's party. Mattie looked so cute in her outfit! She liked her flower and half the time wanted to be eating it!
